National Crochet Month 2022

You don’t have to say it. I’ve been MIA since August last year. I’ll be honest, after I finished the temperature blanket, I needed a break. I focused on my garden the rest of the summer and fall. Then before I knew it, we were back into the cold of winter and I went into hibernation.

But I’m back! Happy National Crochet Month!

My long-ignored free-form jacket WIP.

March is a great month to kick off my re-entry to my love of all things fiber. I’m getting back on track with my most recent WIP, a free-form-ish square jacket. My bag of crochet squares and scrumbles currently sits in the corner of my living room unloved for quite some time. It’s time to give it some much-needed attention.

Throughout National Crochet Month I will be sharing with you the stories of those who have inspired me over the years. I’ll tell you about some of my favorite independent dyers, spinners, books, and shops.

I hope you will join me on my adventure as I rediscover fiber arts.
